Part 3: shooting
The day of the shoot all of the team members met at our classroom to get last minute advice from our teacher to get the best possible result. Due to illness I had organised and brought in most of the props.
Upon getting to the cellar location we discovered that when the location finders checklist had been completed when the cellar fans were off, which was not the case on day of filming. The fans were too loud to get dialogue and sounds, so with some quick thinking and use of our initiative and decided to use voiceovers which also goes well with the film noir codes and conventions.
